This semi-fermented tea has large curled leaves that are greenish-black in color and produce a lively infusion with a very pleasing taste. As it is only partially oxidized (fermented), Sechung Oolong tea’s body and taste falls between a green tea and a black tea. Its flavor is uniquely its own – neither as sweet as a black tea nor as grassy as a green tea.
This tea is sold loose leaf, meaning it will not arrive packed in tea bags.

This tea has the nice flavor twist that I look for in an oolong. There is a combination of grassy vegetal and sweet fruit to this, and the flavor lingers a bit, which is what I like. This a little greener than I would prefer, but still very good and at an unbeatable price. It does cloud a bit when iced, but that is only a cosmetic thing I think. My preferred method to drink this tea is iced with a little sugar added. A touch of sugar really brings the tropical fruit notes in the tea to the forefront. I'm a happy customer with this one.”

- “A review field. I've been ordering this sechung oolong for at least 7 years. And for 7 years it has been consistantly fantastic. I'm not a big fan of the flavored teas but also loved the Acai which is no longer available. Just don't use brew too hot or too long so as not to get it bitter and behold, the tea that leaves you with the BIG ahhh. My all time favorite.”
- “I have tried many oolong teas and this is by far the best. There is a great balance between green and black. There is no grassy taste. It's great on its own. ”
